Introducing “Valley Voices” – A San Lorenzo Valley Non-Meeting

Dear Neighbor:

No one wants more meetings, but I do want to gather on a regular basis with San Lorenzo Valley residents of all stripes — teachers, business owners, fire fighters, seniors, parents, community leaders, elected officials, students, and anyone else who is simply interested in what’s going on in our San Lorenzo Valley.

I envision an early morning, monthly gathering at rotating places in the San Lorenzo Valley.

The purpose is to share information, ideas, and concerns and to catch up on projects underway and those that should be.  You can share your agenda, but not monopolize the conversation.  After brief introductions and comments from everyone, we will turn our attention to a speaker on a current topic of interest who will speak for 15 minutes or so and then answer questions.

One of the biggest benefits I envision is sharing a “community calendar” so that we are not stepping on each others’ dates, organizationally speaking.

If you would like to give it a try, please come to the first “Valley Voices” non-meeting:

Speaker: Santa Cruz County Sheriff Jim Hart
